BCAA's participation in the Snip It Clinic held on May 22, 2011, was again, very successful. Twenty-five females were spayed and 39 males neutered. A total of 25 cats/dogs were also microchipped. Many of those were cats having surgery, but some came in just for the microchipping as well. Thanks to The Red Cross Pet Aid Team of Burlington County for offering the microchips at a very reduced cost and donating their time. Kudos to all that volunteered their time, thus helping to reduce the amount of strays/ferals that die needlessly.
Pictures from May 22, 2011...
BCAA sponsored our first Snip It Clinic with much success. There were 24 females spayed and 26 males neutered. All had their Rabies Vaccine and 49 received the Distemper Vaccine. There were approximately 15 cats who were microchipped as well. Out of the females done, there were three litters that were born from Ferals, as you can see in the pictures below. This is why BCAA is so adamant in sponsoring these Clinics. We have to stop the over population of these poor animals. You too can help, it's simple.....SPAY/NEUTER your animals!!
