Hey Yukon's guardian angels, Here's the much delayed update. In the last few months Maria and I got married, Maria totaled her car and we' ve spent every free weekend trying to clean out Maria's father's house. We've also added Maria's father's dog, Tippi, to the mix and her separation anxiety has proved to be something of a challenge. The good news is that Yukon is just fine. His second heart worm treatment went well with no complications. There have been a couple other trips to the vet (pink eye and a troubling sore on a paw) but he's put on weight and his energy level has really increased. His lameness is still evident and although he seems to be improving I'm doubtful he will ever be 100%. (I'm of the opinion that somewhere along the line someone pulled his tail too hard. There was a dog in the neighborhood that had a similar condition.) He is still the same sweetheart you remember; easy to live with- easy to love.
Thanks to both of you to for helping Yukon find his way here. BTW, Lorriane, we appreciate the gesture of waiving the adoption fee but Maria and I would like to make a donation to the BCAA and are unsure where to send a check.
And , Michelle, I promise that as soon as we get Maria's fathers place on the market we'll contact you for a reunion. Attached are a couple pictures for your amusement.
Peace and love Dave
