Hi Sue - I was going to email you tomorrow after Archie has his vet appointment. He is doing more then wonderful. I never saw such a smart puppy before. His 1st night was hard in his crate. I think he has hound in him the way he was howling. We are thinking he may be part Rhodesian Ridgeback. But once I put his bed in crate with a stuff toy, he was much better. Last night he was a charm. He whined once to go potty at 4am then back to bed. He loves his crate. a little to much. We call him the couch potato (although he is not allowed on the couch). The kids adore him. My little one who is not very fond of dogs took charge. He almost never jumps on people and puppy bites. I do notice he is scared of the dark. Does not like it outside at all in the dark and tries to run in. I am sure that will change real soon. He is so very gentle and very smart and only had one accident in the house. It is so much fun to have him around. I will keep you posted on his progress and follow up with pictures.
