Hi, I thought I woul give you an update on Nakita. We call her Niki. She now knows her name! She has chewed a few pairs of shoes and has done a few bad dog things like getting up to the kitchen counter and licking spaghetti sauce and splashing it everywhere!! She is learning how to behave in the house, and we are lead to believe that she wasn't in a house before and doesn't know any rules except how to sit when she was told. She has never peed or pooped in the house. We think that is great!! She is really loving and is able to stay out of the crate except when we go to work in the morning for about 2 hours. But not on weekends. She sleeps at the foot of our bed at night! We are so happy to have her and she is a good girl!!I am going to send a picture...she has put on some weight and her coat is so shiny. We feed her Max brand dog food. Thank you so much, Betty Cullen

Hi, We brought home Nakita from Laura's on Saturday. She was a bit hyper at first but is calming down a bit! She is very lovable and she is a people girl. Loves everybody!!We are crating her at night but hope in the near future to let her have the run of the house at night. She is not a glutton with her food and will share her food or treats with anyone who happens to be near! She sits, lays down on command, although she doesn't always stay too long! She keeps herself occupied [playing with toys that we have given her. A squeaky foam ball is fun for her to throw u[p in the air and chase. She doesn't chew shoes or socks. We found this out by missing shoes and they were piled up in the middle of our bed along with her toys! Too funny!! She has not had any accidents in the house and has adjusted to going to one spot in the yard to do her duty!! She is very lovable after calming down... Things are looking real good!! Love her already! Thank you, Betty and Glen
