Hello from Heaven!!
I asked the angels who watch over us at Rainbow Bridge, if they could deliver one last letter to my mom to send to you…Being nothing but the best of the Angels, they, of course, said Sure!
I am having fun up here with my old pal Indy who introduced me to all the others who went before me. Although I am having fun and feeling the best I ever had I always am watching what is going on with my earth family.
OK..You thought I was a knucklehead…well after I had to go, Mom and Dad decided Sophie had to have a new brother..She is not the kind of kid who likes to be alone…I had a little something to do with guiding them to the cage I thought would make the best new kid for them. (lol) ok…a little pay back for what I had to put up with when Sophie came -all feisty and full of herself…she could not leave me in peace…
Meet Buddy….He is one crazy guy who makes me look like Lassie. Sophie and him run like Tanzanian devils thru the house and yard…then fall asleep to recharge and are at it again. It’s funny how since Dad is home he sees all the trouble he gets in eating shoes and remotes..Knocking over lamps when he tries to get to Kleenex boxes that he makes his own snow in the yard with…and when Dad complains about him doing things he shouldn’t Mom has to say “He’s no worse than any of the others were..Only I was home before you to hide the evidence”…ha-ha.
I feel that I helped make a good pick for a kid that needed a home. I sure was lucky…
My mom misses me awful but knows I am always watching (and laughing) and that I am not gone forever… once they come up here to get me and the rest of us-- that is when we will have forever.
So this is my last letter but thank you for all you have done for me and for the great home you put me in…Watch over all the other kids you get and help them find great homes too!!
Your pal and knucklehead,
Always in your hearts!
My sweet boy Shadow passed away in his sleep last night.. he seemed to be panting hard late at night but that was not unusual...I miss him so much already.. he was a good boy and the best walking dog I ever had.. like a solider right next to us. At the dog park he was the "park police dog" and made sure no one got rough his sister or other little dogs. We were very lucky for the time we had with him.
I thought you would want to know...
